Want to work with me in January?
Open for workshops, coaching, seasonal podcasts and a playlist!
Hello hello!
I thought I would reach out to give a brief summary of what’s going on around here in the next few weeks, as it’s shaping up to be a rather busy month, with two unique workshops coming in the next two weeks and some rare one-on-one support available, too.
First, I have just a few spots open for business and creative coaching this month. These sessions are not always running, so if you want some support (and soon) from a person who has made self-employment work as a mystical neurodivergent, I’d encourage you to book your spot today!
After a very enjoyable run of Cave of Dreams in the early winter, storyteller Daniel Allison and I are continuing the popular workshop series for the second half of winter, beginning Sunday, January 26th with the first session, Wolf Milk. These Cave of Dreams workshops include traditional storytelling, song, visualization and creative prompts based on seasonal folklore, with the intention of stimulating pagan creative practice.
In Wolf Milk we will dive into the folklore of the goddess-saint Brigid and the intersection between wolf lore and the powerful yet taboo magic of birth.
For a preview of some of the themes in question, you can revisit my 2023 February almanac episode of Fair Folk podcast, also called Wolf Milk, or the accompanying February & wolf lore Spotify playlist. For more Brigid folklore from Ireland, I would also reccommend the Blúiríní Béaloidis / Folklore Fragments podcast episode Brigid in Folk Tradition.

Just this coming Sunday, Jan 19th, I’m hosting a new workshop called Entheos. This class will be a callback to the very source of our creativity, the feeling of enthusiasm itself. In it I will ask participants to return to first principles with their motivation and recover some of the sensations and callings that uniquely make them feel alive.
Our enthusiasm is the wellspring of our confidence and peace. When we are clear in our beings about what we deeply love, it becomes much easier to choose a direction when the time comes to do so. But there’s no rush to action! I invite you to feel gently and slowly into what you love at this low-light moment in the year.
I offer this class as a former schoolteacher, a coach, and someone who has shaped her professional life from a belief that your genuine enthusiasm is a life-raft, both for yourself and for others.
I sincerely hope you are safe and well-cared for these days. With love from the wintry Scottish Borders under a blossoming moon,
Danica
And in case you missed them, here are some words of encouragement for these intense times:
I was about to say to myself that I have already committed to another circle of practice, and I should not sign up, when I saw that the January Cave of Dreams is calling on Brigid. There is so much exciting interweaving between this and the other practices I am cultivating in this dark half of the year that I just signed up for all 4 workshops. Thank you for continuing them and putting all this good work out there.
Happy full moon!
To anyone reading this thinking of signing up for one of Danica’s coaching calls. I highly recommend!! Danica gave me priceless practical advice as well as incredible encouragement and inspiration to go after my biggest dreams. The phone call I had with her felt like laying foundational cornerstones for my creative pursuits moving forward. 🖤🕸️🎶
✨ Thank you Danica! ✨
